It’s safe to say that I did not get all of my quilting finished by Christmas. In fact, I’ve still got several projects still in progress. Fortunately, I did finish all of the ones that absolutely had to be completed: the baby quilt & the gift for my great aunt.

This week, I’m finishing piecing a top for my Dad. He’s an aviation aficionado and when I found this fabric online I knew it would be perfect for him.DadsPlaidQuilt

I had most of this done before Christmas, but ran out of time when it came to cutting the rest of the long blue strips. Thankfully, I don’t expect this project to take more than 1/2 a day to finish…especially when I’ve got such a faithful helperJagercatQuilting
JagercatUnderQuilt.

This brings the to-sew list up to:

  • 1 finished top waiting to be quilted
  • 1 quilt top nearing completion (the one featured in this post)
  • 2 quilts waiting to be cut

Today I’m linking up at freshly pieced and showcasing a few of my “Works in Progress.” I’m also posting my quilting updates under #quiltinprogress on Twitter and Instagram.
