I’m determined to make 2013 the year I seek out opportunities. I long for this little corner of the web to grow, to be uplifting, to be supporting, to be sustaining. And the only way it will get there is with work, with writing, with opportunity.
But I don’t just want to seek opportunities that benefit my blogging, I want opportunities that benefit holistically. Opportunities that help me learn, help me listen, help me create, help me grow.
And so, instead of searching for opportunities, I’m setting out to make my own.
I’m writing in notebooks and planning out goals.
I’m making myself ready for when the opportunity becomes possibility becomes reality.
Because after all, 2013 is my year of courage. And creating opportunities for the betterment of my blog and my life will take all the courage I can muster.

Thanks, Robin. Courage is my word for this year, and after diving into Ali Edwards’ One Little Word Workshop, it’s starting to scare me. But all good things come with fear, right?
Ah yes – it takes boldness and courage to go out and make opportunities happen… setting goals, and getting His heart for them, catching a glimpse and then running hard after what is possible… may you capture Opportunities and meet goals all year through!
