Ok first, let me apologize for the somewhat blurry photos. I’m not sure what happened there.
Anyway, this was the first week I’ve used an insert and I’m really pleased with it. I got a lovely thank-you note from my friend, Emily A., for the quilt I made her daughter. I arranged the thank-you note in the front of the insert, and put a photo of the quilt and a bit of back-story on the back. To make the sleeve for the insert, I trimmed down a 8 1/2 x 11 page protector and sewed up the edge.
I’ve also been enjoying tons of caramel lattes from Seattle Grind. I saved a couple of cup-sleeves and trimmed them to fit a 4×6 slot. I paired it with some journaling and a cute coffee flair from aflairforbuttons.
A few other highlights from the week:
- I finally had time to get my hair darkened
- I got some lovely mail and drawings from Josué
- Pam brought me some fresh eggs in exchange for egg cartons
- My windshield got a massive rock peck
- The cats adore clean laundry – especially when its still warm
- I redesigned the blog
- I took my first influence Network class and LOVED it!
I’m still loving this project! If you share your project life spreads each week, I’d love to see them. Feel free to post your link in the comments

Great idea including an image of your blog on your layout. And neat idea to show a before and after of your hair! I’m filing those ideas for future reference!
