A busy work week led to few “during the week” photos, and honestly, nearly the entire right spread is comprised of photos/goods taken and collected on Saturday.
Since this was the first full week of March, I included my “courage” goals photo and monthly intention card. I also started my first 30 Days of Lists, and am totally loving that project.
A coworker found some great “vintage” stickers while she was reorganizing her office – I was able to snag two of the best from her
On Saturday, I finally gave in and took my favorite prom dress to consignment. Not going to lie, it was tough. I loved that dress – even though I know that I’ll never have an occasion to wear it again, letting it go was difficult.
Dad and I also took Shinobi to her one-year vet check-up. She loved it. (not) She did, however, do five hundred times better than jager does when he has to go to the vet. So there’s that.
Finally, Dad and I finished Saturday off by going to several new-to-us Flea Markets in a neighboring county. We found lots of great stuff – and the area even had a fabric wholesale store! So you know I left with 50lbs of great prints
I can’t wait to share the projects I’m planning for all that fabric!
A few other highlights from the week:
- I went to the dentist and was told that the amount of wear I’ve put on my night guard in just 2 months was “impressive” – which didn’t sound good at all
- I remembered a great, local sushi place with amazing veggie rolls
- I made several project-life filler cards for a card-swap I found through instagram.

You area stronger woman than me. All my fancy dresses (prom, bridesmaid, college formals etc.) live in a closet @ my parents’ house. Even all my old dance costumes. I maintain that I’ll give them to a someday daughter, but I know it’s mostly just hard to let special memories like that go away.
It was so hard! But worth it in the end – at least I know that it will get worn again
