Meal no. 6: Slow Cooker Chili
Adjustments: I used Morning Star Soy Crumbles instead of hamburger meat; left out the celery, bell pepper, and hot sauce; used hot chili beans for one can of kidney beans; and added one pint of homemade canned tomato pieces.
Notes: Makes a ton; easily 8-10 servings
Review: Eh. Not my favorite chili recipe. I added a ton of cheese to my serving, and that helped; but I doubt this becomes the go-to-choice for my family. I was impressed with the soy crumbles, but Dad quickly figured out this was a meatless version.
