PLWk1_1Here we are, week 1 of 2014, and I still love this project, and my love is amplified by the ability to start a completely new album and revamp my sharing plan at the same time.

I’m going to stick with documenting each week, and I’m still keeping my weeks Monday through Sunday to keep the weekend together. However, I’m going to simplify the way I share them here by using a Q&A format adopted from Elise.PLWk1_3

Week of: January 1-5, 2014PLWk1_2What happened this week: I rediscovered the local library and checked out a ton of books, including an awesome audio book to listen to on the hour+ drive to work each day. I got the sweetest note in the mail from a former Awana clubber – it totally made my day. I also tried out a new outfit combo and loved it. Overall, it was a great start to the new year.
PLWk1_5Anything special in the spread: I included a pretty rad card from Studio Calico. It sums me up perfectly: “I just want to make nice things & get enough sleep.”PLWk1_4Techniques this week: Lots of instagram photos – and it took me a while to figure out how I wanted to do my title cards this year; but I’m super happy with how the washi tape week # turned out & plan to continue with that design.PLWk1_6Overall thoughts: I can’t believe how fast this spread came together & how much I still love the process. Looking forward to documenting the rest of the year, for sure.
